Public Hearing and possible action on a request for a Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) for infill construction at 501 South Austin Avenue, bearing the legal description of City of Georgetown, Block 27, Lots 1-8, 1.3104 acres.

The City of Georgetown is in receipt of a request for a COA for infill construction at 501 South Austin Avenue. According to the submitted letter of intent, the applicant wishes to remove an existing non-historic structure and construct a multi-use development, with retail space on the first floor and residential units on the upper floors. Staff recommends approval of the request based on the findings that the request complies with the approval criteria of Section3.13.030 of the Unified Development Code (UDC).
